Serene Valley Holistic Therapies invites you to step into the "Lions Gate Portal". Breathe golden light, connect with cosmic energies, allow the guidance, and ground yourself. You may access the Lion's Gate on the 8th of August 2023, however the shadow period which occurs between July 28 and August 12, 2023 is also a beneficial time to practice meditation. Lion's Gate is the well-known term derived from astrology and spiritual beliefs, representing a significant alignment of celestial bodies that carries symbolic and energetic significance. This event centres around the Sun's positioning in the zodiac sign of Leo, represented by the lion, hence the name "Lions Gate."


During this period, the cosmic energies are amplified, allowing for enhanced spiritual connections, personal growth, and consciousness expansion. It is considered a powerful time for self-discovery, healing, and transformation. The number 88 is often associated with positive attributes such as abundance, prosperity, and good luck in some numerological beliefs.


For people in Australia and around the world, the Lions Gate Portal on 08.08.2023 might offer unique opportunities to tap into your inner strength, courage, and creativity. It is a time to set intentions, release old patterns, and embrace positive changes. Setting your Intention for your Lion's Gate Meditation


Prior to your meditation, set a clear intention for your meditation. This could be to connect with higher energies, gain insight, or raise your vibration.

"My intention for this meditation is to open myself to the powerful energies of the Lion's Gate. I seek to connect with higher energies, gain insight, and raise my vibration. I am grateful for this opportunity to explore and grow during this sacred time."



Meditate with Crystals


You may choose a selection of crystals for your Lions Gate meditation, or you may keep it simple and choose just one crystal. During the meditation, hold the crystal in your hands, place in front of you or if lying down, you may place the crystal at your third eye.


Amethyst

Amethyst is often associated with spiritual growth, intuition, and protection. It is believed to promote a sense of calm and balance, making it useful in meditation practices to enhance clarity and connection to higher realms.


Labradorite

Labradorite is known for its iridescent play of colours, which is said to awaken your mystical and intuitive abilities. It can be a helpful crystal for enhancing spiritual vision and self-discovery during meditation.


Azurite

Azurite is associated with the third eye chakra, which is related to intuition, insight, and inner wisdom. It is believed to support deep meditation and can aid in clearing mental clutter, allowing for clearer thinking and higher awareness.


Lapis Lazuli

Lapis Lazuli has been valued for its deep blue colour and association with royalty and spirituality. It is believed to enhance spiritual awareness, intuition, and inner vision. In meditation, lapis lazuli can assist in accessing higher realms and connecting with divine wisdom.


If you choose to incorporate crystals into your Lions Gate meditation, remember to cleanse and charge them appropriately, and most importantly, trust your intuition in choosing the crystals that resonate with you.


Take your Seat


Choose a peaceful location where you won't be disturbed during your meditation. You may have already created your designated meditation space, or you may find any quiet and cosy place to sit. As you position yourself, either seated on the floor, a chair or lying down, remember to keep your spine straight and in alignment as much as possible. Think head over heart, heart over hips. Use as many bolsters, cushions and blankets as you wish. If you so choose, light a candle, burn some incense and create the ambiance you love.

Allow the Breath


Begin with a few deep breaths to relax and become centred. Inhale deeply through your nose, hold for a moment, and then exhale slowly through your mouth. You may choose to extend this out by counting the breaths, elongating the breath as you exhale. Breathe in for the count of 3, hold for the count of 3, breathe out for a count of 5, hold for a count of 3 and so on. Extend the breaths by increasing your count as you begin to enjoy the slower breathing.

Lions Gate Visualise the Light

Visualise the Light


Now begin to envision a bright, radiant white light surrounding you. Visualise this light filling every cell of your being, shining down from above and through your crown chakra. Allow this light to slowly illuminate you, filling you, moving down through your head, through your throat, moving down through your upper torso and heart centre. Imagine the light pouring in through your abdomen, your hips, thighs and all the way along your legs to your feet and toes. Allow the light to fill you, surround you, cleansing and energising you.


Connect with the Portal

Visualise the Lions Gate 888 portal, represented by a shimmering golden gate or an energetic gateway. Feel its powerful energy drawing closer to you. Allow yourself to be drawn in, if you are not able to visualise the golden portal, continue with the breath and imagine the white light filling you and surrounding your body. The importance of this meditation is the breath and your intention.


Absorb the Energy


Imagine the energy of the portal flowing into your being, filling you with positivity, clarity, and spiritual insights. Embrace the heightened energy of the Lions Gate. Know you are safe and protected by this energy.


Reaffirm Your Intentions

While in this heightened state, focus on your intentions for personal growth, self-love, and any specific goals you wish to set for the future.

I seek to embrace my true self, with all my strengths and imperfections, and cultivate a deep sense of self-acceptance and compassion. I release any negative self-talk or limiting beliefs that hold me back from achieving my full potential."


Stay in this state for the duration of the music or for as long as you please. There is no hurry and if you have chosen a music track to listen to, and it's not time to end the meditation, turn it off when it ends and continue with your bliss.


Give Thanks


Conclude your meditation with giving thanks and gratitude for the experience and the opportunity to connect with the Lions Gate energies.

Grounding


Take a few moments to ground yourself after your Lion's Gate 888 meditation, feeling your connection to the Earth beneath you. You may choose to use crystals to help ground you by holding some amethyst, smoky quartz, Orthoceras or black tourmaline.

The Lion's Gate portal associated with the alignment of celestial bodies is believed to occur on the August 8th each year. During this time, it is believed that the energies from the star Sirius and the constellation of Leo align, creating a powerful influx of energy that can be harnessed for spiritual growth and transformation.


The dates I mentioned, July 28 to August 12 is the ‘shadow period’. This time refers to the period before and after the exact date of the Lion's Gate portal.
